Hello there!
Thank you for stopping by. You might be wondering who this lady in a 'test pattern' suit is and how did you end up here so -without further ado- here's a summary of how you and I made it to this point.
Back in 2014, I paused my career as a Software Developer/Test engineer and went off to pursue my master's degree in Information Technology with a focus in User Experience. Packed my bags and moved to a little city called Tampere, up north close to where Santa Claus lives. With a lot of enthusiasm, I formally started my path on HCI and quickly realized that there was a lot more to it than just aesthetics.
The pervasive characteristic of the field intrigued me and allowed me to enjoy exploring very different paths that have the same goal: make things better. The projects I've participated in range from software engineering and Open Source for the Open Design Foundation to social entrepreneurship and systems thinking at the Un-School of Disruptive Design in their NYC edition, to product design and Agile methodologies for Futurice and Kesko. Ultimately, for my thesis work, I decided to combine my knowledge and put my skills into use to explore a different branch: HCI for development.
Connecting dots is my passion but, above all, creating something that improves people's lives.
This is where WE meet.
This is where WE meet.
Maybe our journey is just beginning but I look forward to it being a long and fun one :)
