COVID Lockdown made it hard, almost impossible, for traveling to happen and most people could only escape from the confinement through their imagination...or multimedia. In my case (and that of many), streaming shows that showed other scenes became fascinating as a means to cope with not being able to explore in real life. One of this shows was Street Food, from Netflix.
More than the food, I feel in love with the stories from a few chefs in the Latin-American and Asian seasons.  Their courageous and impressive stories made me want to share their mindsets with my friends, which is why I planned the creation of postcards with some of these characters and phrases that would inspire them to push through otherwise gloomy times.
For this project, I asked my friend Maul to contribute with the portraits, while I was lucky to find Rhinaldy on Fiverr to design the lettering. Overall, the sets were made of 3 postcards that for printed just in time for them to be delivered by Christmas day on the first year of COVID.
