While I was part of the Quality Assurance team, I organized monthly events to collect feedback and data on the performance of laser and hand-tracking components for our device.
I came up with the concept of Display Daybreakers inspired by the actual daybreaker parties where everyone is welcome to participate without any pressure. I invited a couple of developers to set up small stations where they could collect the data they needed from people's devices, which made the participant's stay more dynamic and fostered connections between developers and users.
Additionally, I invited one of our co-workers to showcase her DJ skills, had immunity shots, electrolytes and cool visuals, so this was definitely not a boring data collection session.
